Booking Terms & Conditions

Payments

Deposit
A deposit of £100 is required to secure your date at the time of booking/ confirmation. ​Your booking will not be held until we receive your deposit. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel and it is non-transferable to alternative dates.

Trial payment
Trial payments are to be made at time of appointment, either by bank transfer or cash.

Final Balance Payment
The remaining balance for the booking is due no less than 30 days prior to the event.

Minimum Booking Fee
The minimum booking fee on the wedding day is £400, this excludes any trial or travel fees.


Additional Charges

Bank Holiday Weekends
Bank Holiday weekends incur an additional £100.00 charge.

Early Morning Fees
An additional charge is applied for all bookings starting pre 8am.
Start time between 7.00-8.00am (£50.00), Start time between 6.00-7.00am (£75.00), Start time between 5.00-6.00am (£100.00).

Venue Change Fee
If we are required to move locations during the booking, a £30.00 location change fee will be applied.

Travel Arrangement Fees
Any travel outside of Jessica-Jade’s local area is chargeable. We will include this in the quote (if any charges apply).

Parking Fees
The client is responsible to pay any applicable parking fees at the location/ venue.


Venue Access

Access to parking at location
Parking is required at the booking location. Please contact Jessica-Jade prior to booking if there is limited parking at your location/ venue. Due to the amount of equipment brought along, if Jessica-Jade has not been made aware of this, Jessica-Jade will not be held responsible for delays this could cause.


Cancellations

Any cancellations after payments have been made are non-refundable, including the deposit payment.
Notice of cancellation of any part or whole of a booking must be given to Jessica-Jade at least one month prior to the date of the booking. If less than one month’s notice is given, any outstanding balance payable in relation to that booking shall be required to be made in full to Jessica-Jade.
If you make the decision to cancel your booking or any booked services, the following charges will apply;
– 12 weeks before the wedding 30%
– 8 weeks before the wedding 50%
– 6 weeks before the wedding 75%
– 4 weeks before the wedding 100%
The percentages are the proportion of the total booking cost.

​In the unfortunate event you have to cancel your booking, cancellations need to be made within 3 months of the reserved date in order to avoid the cancellation fee.


Photography

The client agrees that Jessica-Jade may use any photography for publicity purposes which include the artist’s website and social media pages.
Jessica-Jade will not post photography before the clients wedding has started to avoid spoiling any surprises for guests at the event.

Abusive Behaviour

Jessica-Jade reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the bridal party for, but not limited to, infectious conditions / abusive, rude and unreasonable behaviour


Communication

Skin allergies 
It is the clients responsibly to make Jessica-Jade aware of any known allergies or skin sensitivities that they or their bridal party may have prior to the service. Jessica-Jade cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known condition. 

Patch Tests
If the client or party requires a patch test for any products, this can take place at your trial appointment.

Timings
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure all members of the bridal party are available at their, pre arranged, allocated times.  No refund or compensation will be offered by Jessica-Jade for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the bridal party.

Insurance 
If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of Jessica-Jade including, but not limited to weather conditions or health and safety reasons, where possible Jessica-Jade will endeavour to rectify such situations, however no compensation will be offered by Jessica-Jade. It is strongly advised that the client takes out wedding or event insurance to cover against these situations.

GDPR 
Jessica-Jade take’s your privacy seriously.  You have provided Jessica-Jade with your contact details so that Jessica-Jade can correspond with you about your wedding hair or makeup as agreed. Jessica-Jade will only use your personal information to administer your booking and to provide the services you have requested from Jessica-Jade.
Jessica-Jade will not pass on or sell your details to any other organisation.
